Ingredients:
- 1 Cuban bread loaf or French baguette
- 1/2 pound roasted pork (sliced)
- 1/2 pound ham (sliced)
- 4 slices Swiss cheese
- Dill pickles, sliced
- Yellow mustard
- Softened butter
Instructions:
Preheat a panini press, grill pan, or skillet over medium heat.
Cut the Cuban bread loaf or baguette into sandwich-sized sections and slice them horizontally.
Spread a thin layer of yellow mustard on the inside of each bread section.
Layer the ingredients on the bottom half of the bread. Start with roasted pork slices, followed by ham slices, Swiss cheese slices and dill pickle slices.
Close the sandwich with the top half of the bread.
Spread a thin layer of softened butter on the outer sides of the sandwich.
Place the sandwich on the preheated panini press, grill pan, or skillet. If using a panini press, press it down gently to create grill marks and melt the cheese.
Cook the sandwich for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden and crispy, and the cheese is melted.
If using a skillet, you can place a heavy pan on top of the sandwich to press it down while cooking.
Once the sandwich is cooked to your liking, remove it from the panini press or skillet.
Let the sandwich cool for a minute before slicing it in half diagonally.
